Introducing a new generation of point-of-care Digital Tomosynthesis (DT) that is practical, affordable, and deployable

Newer X-ray imaging solutions like digital tomosynthesis have fallen short and so clinicians still face a trade-off between image quality, cost, portability, and radiation dose.
/ THE PROBLEM
/ THE SOLUTION
Higher instantaneous flux
Enabling better point-of-care imaging
DT enables higher diagnostic sensitivity and specificity than 2D X-ray with faster workflow times, lower cost and lower dose than Computed Tomography ('CT'). Our focus is:
Depth resolution coupled with true portability
Point-of-care use with minimal workflow disruption
Variable end-point energies
Advanced capabilities AND true portability
Lower cost

Why now?
Deep learning-based image reconstruction is a reality
First-generation FPA-based devices did not deliver transformation due to a lack of source performance caused by one or more technology gaps in cathode technology, packaging, control and manufacture. We remain excited about the future as technology and supply chain advances overcome these issues.
New cathode technologies are available
Previously patented approaches are back in the public domain
Predicate devices allow for a “fast follower” move
We are developing a next-generation, more-powerful, lower-cost ‘Flat Panel Array’ (‘FPA’) that will aggregate multiple X-ray emitters in a single envelope. This will deliver an array that allows X-ray emitters to be rapidly switched to quickly generate an image using Digital Tomosynthesis without any physical movement. We are seeking partners to work with us to deliver Digital Tomosynthesis to the point-of-care in order to improve diagnostic workflows on a global basis.

Focused on collaboration
We will deliver Next Generation Flat Panel Arrays to OEM partners to allow them to deliver new solutions.
We will deliver DT systems to support adoption, initially for veterinary and NDE applications.
Flexible business models
We are open to licensing the technology, manufacturing FPAs for integration, and producing entire systems on a 'white label' basis.
Enabling innovation
By enabling new product capability with limited R&D spend we enable innovation that is fast-to-market at low cost.
